One day on a winter morning
As I went out for a stroll
On the road I met my neighbor
Taking her dog for a walk
           As I followed them in silence
           Little Puppy turned and looked
           Began barking in annoyance
           As if he disliked my face!
“I said nothing to you, puppy
Why are you barking at me?”
To this question no response came,
More and more the barking heard!
             Although we reached the nearby park,
             And in short while returned home
             Barking of the dog continued,
             My question, too, repeated!
Why did the puppy bark at me?
I pondered for a long time
Till I realized that I forgot 
To simply tell him “Hi “!
