When I look on the cross of Calvary
When my tears like a river flow
I know surely, I know……….
Christ Jesus died for me
My Savior died for me (2)
Leaving the comfort of heaven, he came
Leading a life of compassion, he lived
Care and love he gave us in hardship and danger
Yet why this cross they gave him, I wonder
As I know him now, I wonder (2)
When I Look …….
Shining the lamp of righteousness, he came
Driving the darkness of ignorance, he lived
He led and guarded us from worldly temptation
Yet why their nails pierced him, I wonder
As I know him now, I wonder (2)
When I Look …….

Those who has faith in God they look at suffering as a purification and a powerful prayer. Here the poet shedding his tears remembering the suffering and death of Jesus. Words have not failed to express his sorrow and pain. May God bless the poet. Happy Easter,.
