They have to protect the goD that they created. It is his/their liability and duty. And, he has right and apt verses and verses in his religious texts to justify this bloody flash flood. Things are only going to get worse and not better. God is not responsible for this. Man is destroying the nature. The reason for Global Warming is human activities, and the pollution that arise from it. This Global warming from pollution and deforestation has caused the Polar Ice Caps to melt, and too much water vapor in the atmosphere. This water vapor has to come down as rain or snow that can result in many other calamities like sea level rising and islands go under water. Is God responsible for such stupidities? Here, some put comments as if Jesus is responsible for all these problems. I don’t see any negative comment here against Hindu deities or Allah or Buddha. What is the politics involved here? We need to protect the nature and the Earth given to us to inhabit (Revelation 11:18)

Dear Raju Thomas Thanks for your comment here. As language is for communication, it is better to use words that most people understand. Otherwise it can cause confusion and misunderstanding. How many know the meaning of the poetical word ‘harken’ means ‘listen’? ‘ ‘Harken’ is an archaic form of ‘hear ken’. ‘Unto’ is also poetical language that very few understand. Although, I enjoy poetry, I communicate here in the language of ordinary people- prose (gadhyam). About ‘God/deities’ in your comment, life is a learning process. We are learning every day. Your views on God can be different tomorrow. Our knowledge has limitations. Mostly, what we say are opinions. Opinion can change any time. We all are born here knowing nothing. We learned a few things from parents, family, society, school and books. What we know or learned need not be the Truth. So, we are all searching for the Truth. Yes, the Bible language is beautiful. Hello, the so called poets, atheists, environmentalists, who are commenting and debating here, may I ask you something. When did the Big Bang happen? is it when people destroyed nature? How did the continents separate? Don’t blame humans for natural calamities. Look at the pattern of huge floods in Kerala! Roughly it occurs every hundred years! Is it man made? Look at the recurring landslides in Kerala! Environmentalists blame it again on humans who built homes there. All these happens because of geological and environmental conditions and natural responses of nature. Don’t blame it on people, or any gods. What happened here is also just another natural calamity. And they are making good use of it to fill their stomach without ' sweating ' Maintaining A luxury life at other's expense. And these books are against modern science. Logical arguments were presented in this comment column as to why it is easier to believe in a God rather than Evolution. Regis didn’t provide a single evidence to prove evolution. Evolution is a theory. Nothing is proved. Faith in God is not a theory. It has supporting evidence in religious scriptures which are written by prophets of God. If you write a book, you have to give Bibliography at the end as reference. Religious books, nobody ask for bibliography as those who believe in it believe that the prophet that wrote it, heard it from God. Hindus believe that the Vedas and Gita as ‘Shruthi’, in the sense heard directly from God as instructions as to how to lead your life. Bible is also written by prophets to help you lead your life as God is the creator. If you have a fraction of the faith necessary to believe that life evolved by evolution, then you can believe in creation. Evolution is also a faith as there is no scientific evidence for it. Here Raju Thomas wrote that although, he does not believe in a God, the Bible was useful to him as a literary work. Regis says only priests have any use from religion. If only priests have use with religion, then people will not support religious institutions with their money. Regis thinks those who support religion are stupid, and he is smart in not believing in God. This thought arise from pride that what I know is better, or is the only truth. If you take the literature of any country, the original literatures of those countries are religious books. Even most of the writings here in ‘emalayalee’ are about religious topics like love, hope, faith courage etc., that shape our life here. This is applicable to stories, poetry, fiction, drama etc. Science has nothing to say about such values that are behind life on this Earth.
