1.
When you cannot share your mind,
When you cannot share your thoughts with those you call kin;
When you become a person of envy, not a cynosure;
When you’re judged for every act,
Rather than helped and cared for;
When the care shown is tinged with cynicism,
and the behaviour that follows feels so inane;
When the words uttered carry venom and sting—
It is time to see the true nature of people, their evil intent.
Time to restrain your naive thoughts,
to become clandestine in your deeds.
For bonding then becomes an ask,
no longer a natural feel.
2.
When you are curious about others
And that curiosity is with bad intent;
When you are inquisitive about others
And that is with a sadistic intent;
When you mean no good to others
And that is visible in words and deeds;
When you think harm for others
And that is overt in your wicked smile;
When you compete to grow with others
And is clear from your aggression;
When you want extensively use others
And that is clear from your wicked acts;
there is no room to know you more.
Refraining gives the other peace.
3.
When you think good just for yourself
And care least about the other;
yourself
When you wish the best only for yourself,
And care least for another’s share;
When you feel you alone deserve it all,
And see the rest as small and low;
When your deeds stay self-centered,
No trace of kindness in your thought;
When you claim a throne atop them all,
Blind to how foolish you, too, can be;
When you wear the robe of royalty,
Yet deep inside know your truest self—
Pause, reflect, and see
Where you truly stand in this vast world.
4.
When your thoughts are selfish,
Your actions cunning,
Your words insidious,
And your behaviour wicked;
When your company is negative,
Your deeds impish,
Your conversations primitive,
And your life stingy;
When your motives are clandestine,
And your approach intrusive—
It is time to know you are unworthy of trust;
Unfit for company.
It is time to walk away,
And leave you to be what you have become;
A product of your upbringing.
5.
When filled with self-centered thoughts,
You remain selfish—narcissistic—
Thinking only of yourself.
Unworthy of being called caring,
Unfit to be trusted or relied upon.
You use others for your gain,
And discard them once your purpose is served.
You smile with pretence,
But behind that grin lies a plot.
Your laughter masks your schemes,
Your smile, a mirror of your impish mind.
You are never to be trusted,
Never welcome in good company,
For every step you take in another’s home
is the start of something negative.
6.
When your conversations drip with deceit,
When your presence brings a shadowed beat,
When intentions sow no seeds of good,
When your heart plots what no soul should;
When your mind breeds wicked schemes,
And empathy fades from all your dreams;
When you use others like tools,
Giving nothing but silent rules —
Do you believe you're worthy of trust?
That your company is noble or just?
That your words inspire, or your thoughts uplift?
Think again — the world observes every rift.
You need not always offer aid,
But let no harm in thought be laid.
Be a soul of grace, not shame —
And leave behind a noble name.
7.
When you want to see someone
With no care for their well-being;
When you strike up a talk
With no thought for their state;
When you crave to join a group
Yet care not for their growth;
When you flaunt your status
Ignoring who truly sees;
When you show off your pomp
Blind to another's peace;
When you seek to gain importance
Regardless of time or place —
You've revealed your insecurity,
vanity, and lack of depth —
Enough for others to measure your worth.
